Hi,
Can you tell me if pets are allowed on the ferries? We are driving from the U.S. to La Paz with our two dogs and cat. Thanks, Karen
A few years ago they were not allowed ... but now the web site says
• The pets traveling inside your car are your responsibility.
I came down on Oct. 16th with one large and one small dog. I was told they could stay in my car but when I got there, the said no, that they had to be put in a kennel, which they furnished and I believe they were $12 each. You can also furnish your own crate/kennel. There were two other dogs in kennels and the kennels were the same as our crates. Plenty of room and clean. It was the same temp as we had in the main cabin. I was very hesitant but would do it again. the ferry was late and had to wait for a cruise ship so they were in the kennel for 12 hours but did fine. I did not give them any water or food. Dogs not only Rule, they are tough. Hope this helps.
I am planning to take a ferrie from topolabamba to La Paz truck and trailor are under 17 m can anyone tell me where I can find up to date info on cost and time schedule
Probably best to look on the Baja Ferries web site. There is a link in the upper right of the page
